Teresa Day
Teresa Day brings energy, enthusiasm and vision to the museum’s mission to preserve Kansas aviation heritage and promote the spirit of flight in the Air Capital of the World.
A native of Wellington, Kan., Day earned a bachelor’s degree from Southwestern College in Winfield, Kan. She is working toward a master’s degree in history from Wichita State University. She devotes time to a wide range of community organizations, serving on the board of the Mental Health Association of South Central Kansas and as a member and past president of the Wichita Bar Association Bar Auxiliary. Day also has been active in the League of Women Voters, Kansas Pilots’ Association, American Cancer Society Wichita Cattleman’s Ball, Sedgwick County Zoo Zoobilee, WSU Alumni Association’s Shocker Auction and the Via Christi Foundation’s Emerald Ball.
Day is married to trial attorney Steve Day. They have two sons, Grant, 8, and Logan, 6 |
